AMBER RIORDAN
RED DIRT CLAYWORKS
Amber Riordan is the potter behind Red Dirt Clayworks. She was born & raised in California & did production work for potters in Arizona & California before graduating from Humboldt State University in 2008 with degrees in Studio Art & Wildland Soil Science.
Riordan’s work studying landscapes in New Mexico, Arizona, & California’s redwood coast informs her ceramic work. Part of what draws her to pottery is the intimacy of everyday objects we hold in our hands.
Riordan’s work has been shown in exhibitions including:
